Newbie saying hello

Post by gtomo2 »

Hello everybody.
Well thats the formalites over, Found this fourm from a member of another one.
Quick history of how i ended up here, Hope your sitting comfy.
Moved back to north wales to a house that had a pond already done Was told there were no fish in it( the heron had taken them all) And as the water was dirty and very low with no filter system runing didnt bother with it. Nice sunny day thought i will sort that pond out and while doing that found........... this little chat all on his own.

So sorted the pond out all is good.
Now up to date that one is now on his side in a q tank with swim blader i think been like since christmas,
Also have a new koi in

And a small goldfish.
Still on a big learning curve with this hobby?
So kit wise i have a 5000 ltr pond with two hozelock 4000ltr filters one with uvc fed off two pumps one 1250 ltr ph and one 4000ltr p h, Two air stones and a waterfall. Pond still needs a lot of work doing to it. Need to get the sludge out of the bottom and as of friday sort a nice hole somewhere in the liner (tomorrows job).
Sorry for the essay
So be aware i may be asking a lot of silly questions
