What are you doing to help your Koi through the Winter?
Is your pond Heated?
Is your Pond covered?
Any other ideas to help the Koi though the depths of winter?

Re: Winter is Almost Here.
Morning Dave,
Well this is the weekend i cover my pond, last year i covered it to late and think it cost me a few degrees of heat. I'm going for two layers this year, which will hopefully act more efficiently. The first layer will be above the second by a couple of feet and slope to one side, this should provide a run- off for rain/sleet/snow etc. The lower cover will be horizontal across the pond.I hope it helps the girls and boys. Also i've moved one of my fish
thats looking a little unhappy at the now lower temps into my growing on pond till the spring.
happy koi keeping .................Mitch.
