Just thought I would say 'hello' to everyone. I have lived inbetween Cheshire and North Wales for the last few years but as I'm now living here permanantly I thought I would check out the local koi scene. And of course I thought I would check out the 'local' koi club.
You have a nice active koi club going and hopefully I will be able to contribute to the forum e.t.c.
No pond here at the moment but I am going over my pond build options with my better half at the moment. House is in need of some drastic modernisation but I'm sure we could squeeze some time in for the fishes.
Hopefully over time I may get to meet some of you and get to have a look at your ponds and koi.
Well done on the excellent website too. GARRY HB
Hello North Wales Koi.
Re: Hello North Wales Koi.
Hi Garry
Welcome to the NWKS Forum.
Hopefully you can get your pond build plans under way ASAP, although I know all about Family and Home first
Took me years to start my own pond, and then 2-3 years to complete it.
Worth the wait though.
Think seriously about joining the NWKS. It's only a few quid, & you'll get a chance to visit our ponds, attend meetings with guest speakers, see some fabulous Koi in our Photo Competition etc etc.
We have several members who are still building their ponds, so you'll be in good company. Now is the time to get loads of help and advice. Avoids the costly C**k ups later
Once again, welcome.

Re: Hello North Wales Koi.
Thanks for the welcome Martin and I will formally join the club soon.
I have had a few ponds ranging from 1000-8000 gallons and it will be interesting to see what guys are building in this neck of the woods. As for pond visits I've seen quite a few ponds in the UK and on our annual visits to Holland for the Dutch koi show. Again it would be nice to see the ponds of N.Wales members.
Thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to more forum chats.

Re: Hello North Wales Koi.
Hi Garry,
Welcome to the forum, as I am in the middle or should I say nearing the end of my pond build, you are welcome to come and see it in its final stages, just give me a call.
Dave.

Hi Dave, thanks for the welcome. I have seen your pond coming together on this forum and I'd love to see what you are getting up to. We'll arrange times to suit you, just let me know.
