Dilemas!

Post by bwgan »

So, about to order my pipe work and came across a cheaper site than Richdon (Coastal Koi). Where do you order from is the dilema? Save money now or spend the money and get koi points?

Hi,
So long as it the same class 'C' pipe go with the cheaper, also it depends on how much you are saving and if you are going use the points to stock your pond!

Ok, I've ordered some bits tonight and put the same amounts into the shopping baskets at Richdon and Costal Koi. The prices were quite amazing
2 X 1" pressure pipe
2 X 4" pressure pipe
3 X 45 deg 1"
3 X 45 deg 4"
1 X 4" ball valve
1 X cement
1 X silicone sealer

Coastal koi - £199.21
Richdon - £238.86

Hi Paul,
The difference is only about £16 when you subtract the £23 you get to buy a Koi!

Hi Paul,
You better not get to the finish line before me,
Glad to hear things are coming together.
Try and find a way of sitting the ball valve on something or get some brackets, do not let the pipework support it

Cheers for that Dave, still a mile away from plumbing it all in. Was going to collect the filter tonight as the wife is going up to her mothers but her car has a flat battery and had to take mine

I welded in the 4" into BD and the air pipe. That stuff goes off flaming quick. I could only push the pipe in 3/4's of the way into the BD and then it was solid. :o :o
