Hi there,
Going to order some 4" pressure pipe soon. Thought I'd also get some glue and bends etc while at it to keep postage free. They do Tangit Press Glue and Solvent Glue Wet R Dry. Which one would you advise?
Cheers
Paul

Re: What glue?
Hi Paul,
It all depends on the pipe, there are two types of pressure pipe.
ABS and PVC-U, the glue can be different,i.e ABS glue will not work on PVC-U and vice versa.
I have used PVC-U and polypipe cement. Wet and Dry goes off very quickly and gives you no time to set the pipes, Tangit I have not used.
But anyway when you buy the pipe and fittings make sure they are compatible and the cement is the correct one.
Also buy the cleaner to clean the pipe and fitting joint, rub down with some fine sandpaper, clean the joint apply the cement push it in and twist to make sure the cement has covered the whole joint, wipe off the residue and leave it.
Dave.
