Hi All,
The only dat we could have done the G&S in May was a Saturday, which is not ideal for the members that work weekends

The dates that are pencilled in for me (and any volunteers) to pick up from Richdon are Fri 20th June or Sat 21st June. The date for NWKS members to actually come over to my place for the 'picking' is Sunday 22nd June, so make a note in your diaries :D

I know this is a little later than ideal, but Holidays etc were against us. The good news is that Rich will hold the Kohaku in one of his Poly tunnels, so they'll be growing more and more before we get them :o He will transfer them to an outside vat a few days before pick up so the temp can be matched to my QT (prob around 20degC). Feeding will also cease at this stage ti avoid polluting the bags in transit.
Looking at the quality of the Tosai on the Richdon BB, I think we're going to be very pleased with our Grow & Shows 8-)

Martin,

Not only do you get Richdon koi for the G & S, but he grows them on for 2 months prior to us getting them, excellent. With Rich's track record they'll be twice as big as they are now. I'm available if anyone drops out.

Many Thanks Guys,

I'll liaise with Rich nearer the time to see which day (Fri or Sat) suits him for the pick up. Will then get some "Santa's little helpers" to come over and help get them from RK.

Even if you don't come down to RK with me, we'll need 'all hands to the pumps' on the Sunday 22nd June when the NWKS descend on my house to pick their G&S Kohaku. We'll need volunteers to Net, Bowl, Photo, measure and record. :?

I think this will be a great success.

Regards
Martin
