Martin,
Not only do you get Richdon koi for the G & S, but he grows them on for 2 months prior to us getting them, excellent. With Rich's track record they'll be twice as big as they are now. I'm available if anyone drops out.

So Richdon will have the little tossers this week. Martin has the tank set up ready, any dates for collection yet. Just have to find a couple more to keep it company whilst it grows, I think another trip to Richdon maybe on the cards when there latest stock comes out of quarentine.

Adding clay
I've just started to add huminic clay to the pond. Label says add between 25-150 grams per 1000 gallons. Whats best to start with?? I think the covers are going to finally come off this week, spring is coming!!!!

Well noticed last night when I got home the temperature on my pond was a lot higher than usual. Further investigation showed my sequence 10000 pump was hot and had stopped running, PANIC. Well my covers are off during the day now, but going back on during the night. With being heated the ponds been at 12 degree's for the last 3 months, as the sun heats the water I'm altering the thermostat upwards. Believe it or not at 12.6 deg after three days of some sun.
