My main priority for the new year is to move on some fish and give the rest the room to grow and develop. Anyone interested give me a shout. Not planning on adding many new fish next year, unless someone finds a nice goromo somewhere!!!!

It will be the ponds 3rd full year next year so hopefuly it will continue to mature. We'll also get to do some work around the garden and redo where the mutts ruined.

What does 2009 have in store for me?
-Take out the Veg filter (caused me bacterial problems).
-Uprate air pumps.
-Improve Heating system.
-Thin out Koi stock to allow "good un's" space to grow.
-Improve my aim with the Air rifle so that B*****d Heron has a very bad 2009!

For me its the Maturing of my new pond as its only been running from Sept 08. So i'll have to keep my eye on it as it warms up (if it warms up). Also im going to be installing a heated quarantine/G&S tank in the garage, which will be in use fairly quickly as my doistu kohaku that got 2nd in the baby comp has managed to damage its side whilst getting stuck in the skimmer. I will try to improve my filtration as i almost enjoy the tech side as much as the fish side of things. Anyway enough already. Good luck to you all for the upcoming koi season. Mitch ;) :D :D
