Hi,
This is an update of the Koi that I purchased in Japan this April, now that they have been Harvested from the 50K pond at Richdon Koi.
This is the Hoshikin Kohaku when placed in the 50K at 40cm
and when harvested at 54cm.
This is the Sekiguchi Showa when placed in the 50k pond at 37cm
and when harvested at 47cm.
Update Aug 2010.
One happy chappie LOL.
Thanks to the Richdon team for all their hard work.
Watch the For Sale Page, I might be moving some Koi on.
Dave.

Re: Update on Japan Koi
Hi Dave,
Easy to see why you're 'One happy chappie'.
You're now faced with two different challenges. With the kohaku you have to maintain the very high quality that was there when you bought the koi and with the Showa continue the development that has taken place in Richdon over the summer. It'll be interesting to see some more photos in 12 months time,
Colin

Dave,
Definately going to be interesting to see these two develop even further. A pair of great looking koi every time you see them in your pond you'll know where they came from and the fact you chose them from the breeders.
