Recently lost three koi. 2 of my Hi Utsuri to local Heron , and my Richdon G&S Dianichi Showa faded away and died . Looked bacterial towards the end. Tried lots, but failed to hold back the inevitable.
However, I now have alovely Shinoda Doitsu Showa from Tony McCann (YouKoi Ltd) and a thonking great Hirasawa Yamabuki from my mate Dave Marchbank (originally from Absolute koi, Derby).
This hobby is definitely one step forward, two back
Martin

Re: Wins & Losses
Martin,
Sorry to hear of your losses, that's the problem with animals there is always the potential of losing them.
Still need to find out the underlying cause!!
Nice Showa and the Yamabuki looks a nice big lump, should be a character in the pond. Pity you did not get the Kohaku to go with them
Dave.
