Having travelled up from Narita via Tokyo to Niigata on the famous Shinkansen
'Bullet Train'.
We wasted little time checking into the 'New Otani Hotel', collecting the car and were on our way to the first breeder of the Trip. An appointment had been made to see and select some Tosai, at Dianichi Koi farm.
The first stop was to see his larger koi, and these did not disappoint, see attached photo's.
From there is was just a short walk across to the new Tosai house, where we spent the rest of the afternoon sorting through 600-700 Tosai, which will for sale at Richdon Koi,
I could not believe the time and care taken by Richard to hand select every koi, out that 600-700 about 30 will coming back to Richdon
