Well its all over now, we travelled back from Niigata to Tokyo this morning, to do a bit of sightseeing, after the brief journey on the Shinkansen from Nagaoka to Tokyo main railway station, how on earth anyone can find their way without some knowledge of where you are supposed to be going, without Toro and Rich, I think we would be still there
We deposited our luggage in the luggage lockers, where Alan had left his rail pass in his case, so had to pay another 500 yen to lock it again
The weather in Tokyo today was superb, not a cloud in the sky and 22degC, the sights were quite amazing. The Emperor's Palace and Cloud Tree forest is very photogenic,a lot of time was spent with the camera here.
We then got back on to the train to journey across Tokyo to see the Tokyo Tower, and we all ventured to the top.
Well folks that is it, out for our last meal shortly.
Thanks for reading.

Dave,
Great diaries, really informative, have a safe trip back. By the way you wouldn't have got me up that tower, I get a nose bleed standing on the side of my pond!!
