Re: fish food
Hi,
Absolutely, koi food can make a difference to pond clarity.
The koi food that the club have been selling (at very much reduced cost) to members this summer is one of the best that you can buy, and it produces very little waste as it contains no bulking agents, which cloud the water and put more waste into the filters.
Dave.

Gaz,
Koi food can cloud and discolour the water.
Bulking agents, Wheat flour, Fishmeal and colourants all play their part in this problem.
I had a problem with my water getting a brown tinge 2 years ago, and that was using an expensive Japanese sourced food.
As Dave says, try the club's food available from Colin Jones, Sec.
