Re: Update on Japan Koi

Dave,

Definately going to be interesting to see these two develop even further. A pair of great looking koi every time you see them in your pond you'll know where they came from and the fact you chose them from the breeders.

Re: This morning

Colin,

I've got an aquosis cover but I've just been hanging off from putting it on, think I'm going to have to though, these summers are just not long enough.

Re: Koi Breeding 2009

Colin,

They're certainly coming along well, I'm amazed at the different growth rates though at this early stage, some a double or even triple the size of the smaller one's. Keep the update scoming.

Re: Koi Breeding 2009

Colin,

What will you be looking for in the first cull, deformities etc or have they already been culled?

Fasinating Colin, I'll follow this thread with great interest. That must be some sized blue bowl with fish in it of that size. Look forward to the next installment.

Re: Thursday 23rd April 2009

Dave,

Great diaries, really informative, have a safe trip back. By the way you wouldn't have got me up that tower, I get a nose bleed standing on the side of my pond!!
