hi all

the koi were swimming on there sides and very lethargic , have added no new fish at all , no jumping or flashing . will give the koi a salt bath . both sterlets looking ok now . but one was showing signs of going down hill 2 weeks ago but since the ph has been ok he has picked up

ph has been steady for about a week now ( 7)

the fish perked up a bit , but two died have one koi and two sterlets and a grass carp left . the koi has a fungal type infection near it's gills any ideas , salt bath ????

last water change was 2 weeks ago, ph still at 7 ammonia still high , yes i have got a purifier. two more koi are looking very ill . looks like i have left it too late

can someone please help over the last month i have lost most of the fish from my girlfriends pond . we were suffering from high ammonia . i have just tested again and says it is still high but there is only 3 koi (10 inches max) 2 sterlet and one grass carp the pond is 14 ft long 4 ft wide but only ...

a 26 watt uv lamp in a 36 watt unit or will it just blow .

very nice fish .

good choices , i will not be getting any new ones until i get round to building my new pond

not a member of the club yet, was last year but only managed one meeting , i work shifts and some weekends so difficult to get to them

personelly would not use salt , but as i have no qt can not comment really . is it virasure that some people use ????. may have the name wrong .
