Its probably about an inch out now.

I started chipping away the concrete around the BD tonight. I've unearthed half of it, and its not budging. I think because its concreted around the pipes. Will continue tomorrow if its nice and will keep you posted

Just a quick thought I had this morning whilst waiting for the milk vampire to awaken. Is it better to over do the UV on you pond the same as your filter i.e. a 4000G lamp on a 3000G pond?
