Paul, You could have scraped the dead Koi, I know that the parasites tend to die or leave a Koi after death but there is always a chance to find some? I am not for treating a pond without knowing the parasite, but if you are likely to lose them all? Look to treat for the killers,White Spot, Costia, ...

Looking good, nice tidy build. One thing that I have noticed is that you have fileted the bottom walls before the Celotex, will this cause a ridge for the Koi to scrape themselves on? You have had some good weather lately 8-) Get the FG done before the weather changes, I see that you have it covered...

Hi, Having read through your post again, the symptoms that you describe could also indicate Bacterial Gill disease. But it also could be a parasite infestation, this needs to be investigated with microscopy and the correct treatment for the particular parasite used. You say that treatment for bacter...

Hi,
Sorry to hear you are still having problems,
Your water test, what are the results for pH,Ammonia and Nitrite?
If your results are OK?
A mucous scrape is then required to see if there are any parasites present, and correct treatment applied.

Richdon Koi are only open at weekends, bit of a pain but they like to rest the Koi in the Fish House.
I am sure you will be impressed with the setup, just mention that you have have spoken to me, and they will double the price of everything LOL.
